Authentic vintage AND authentic French herb cutters or "hachoirs". Many of these beauties are being sold in the marketplace newly made yet made to look vintage, however these are the REAL DEAL, purchased from now out-of-business restaurants throughout Paris and surrounding areas. {We have one authenticated restaurant supplier from whom these are purchased; he resides in Paris proper.} As these were for commercial use, they are much wider spread making them ideal for display on walls or as the Italians use them: for cutting pizza! If planning to use for food / cutting herbs, first oil then sharpen. All wood handles with forged steel. THESE ARE AUTHENTIC VINTAGE therefore, expect some wear and tear on handles and blades. This one measures approx 17 x 11 1/2". French, circa 1930-1940.
